Difference Between Principles Vs. Personalities
There has been massive vocal opposition to the massive spending and borrowing that has been approved by congress.
The Conservative Right has been vocal about the rejection of the perception of "Obamunism" and the concept that has been portrayed within the first 36-50 days of the new Obama Regime change.
The voting masses that have nominated Obama, characteristically are drawn in by the charisma and the personality of what he represents, more than about the fundamental system of values and the platform that he presents-- or at least this is the perception.
Abuse of the 'change' message that has been cast, can most predominantly be seen with the extreme liberal Congress and most notably Nancy Pelosi, who has been leading the masses of Democratic Party line to conform into somewhat of a ridiculous brand of power-hungry, principle-less, Cretans, scooping up borrowing capabilities and influence under a veil of confusion, chaos, and uncertainty.
Of course the usual suspects are present, with Reid, Frank, Pelosi, and many others joining in on the action. Moderate Democrats have also lost their voice, and have felt that "action" whether good, nor bad, is better than "no action." The silence and lack of rejection of these Cretans is extremely alarming, very disturbing, and for the most part-- disgusting.
Day by day, for 7 or 8 days straight, we have seen our private and public companies being decimated. Each day, we have more layoffs, massive devaluations, negative earnings, more investigations. The levels of debt that are being thrown upon the people, and thrown upon companies by people is almost incomprehensible. It seems as if there is a new economic casualty around each corner, and each day we hear about the aftermath of being taken out to the woodshed and executed. The perception is that there is no end in sight to the chaos.
Only until we have seen the Dow Jones at 6,500 under Obama's watch, and have organized "Boston tea parties" throughout US cities (which are rejecting the very idea of increasing the National Debt and Taxes to the degree that has been proposed), have we seen any restraint by the far left members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
It is clear that what we need now is for members of both parties in the Senate and the House to distance themselves from the "lunatic fringe" element of their constituency. The difficulty I believe is that because the Speaker of the House is so obtuse and blatant, and because of the massive amounts of 'fear' that is felt from the economic markets, there is no opposition or voice against the wrong-doings.
The purpose of the GOP really is for the conservation of America, American Principles, and American Freedoms, both as individual ideas as well as for the sovereignty of the Republic.
For members of the media to try to exploit any differences that the GOP has with dealing with the chaos and confusion, that even the members of congress are feeling, is really disingenuous. Focus on personalities and media sensationalism really is not the main goal, nor will it ever be. If a vocal personality such as Rush Limbaugh raises awareness by speaking out against the travesties that are being done, while the vast majority of the population is 'asleep at the wheel', he should not be degraded nor exiled by members of the media who claim to be 'fair and balanced.' The style and the technique that a personality such as Rush uses, may be somewhat emotional or reactionary when it appears to be directly opposite or mutually exclusive to the conforming view of the public, the congress, the president, and the world.
Paul Revere may not have been too eloquent with his approach. Maybe even Thomas Paine could have made the 67 page pamphlet shorter. Everyone and anyone can ring that freedom bell, there are no restrictions. When ringing it, turns heads, people look and listen.
Trying to exploit a fictitious 'rift' between Michael Steele and the voice of freedom who reaches 20,000,000 American listeners, appears to be a tactical move by radical liberal fascists. Viewing the message and the delivery that Rush has been distributing for the past week, and during the CPAC last weekend, appeared to be much more of a "Wake Up Call" to the nation, Congress, and the President.
Will Obama eventually emerge as being a "Ronald Reagan" of sorts, or is his 4 year presidency doomed to go the route similar to "Jimmy Carter's" ?
There is no doubt in my mind that the GOP does not want America to fail. The GOP does not want Obama to fail. Nations across the world do not want America to fail either. Obama is the Commander in Chief for 4 years, and there is nothing short of impeachment that can change this fact. We must deal with it.
What Rush indicated, and what the solid core of the American people and the GOP have indicated, is that they value principles over personalities. Maybe it does take a 14 year old boy at a CPAC convention to try to hammer though the basics. Maybe it takes examples of Indian, Black, Hispanic, Asian, women, conservatives all across the nation, to put a 'face' or a social networking utility on a way of thinking, and a platform of principles. Changing things for the worse, or changing things for the sake of changing things, while potentially putting our freedoms at risk is something that goes deeply against what the nation was founded upon, and it is clear as day to any GOP American.
